The USS ''Constitution'' is now berthed at Pier 1 of the former Charlston Charleston Navy Yard at one end of Boston's Freedom Trail, as is open to the public year-round. She is still a commissioned Navy ship, however, and visitors are subject to Navy provisions and the fact that she puts out to sea occasionally.
