Not Blocked

Just a note: Actually, you weren't blocked (block log looks empty from what I see), but Conservapedia is locked down half the time. Only the Elite can edit during this lockdown. --KevinM 13:45, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

Ha! Thanks for the heads up, but I'm done here either way. And there was something specifically odd about my account, as I couldn't access my user page or talk page at all; they were restricted to be viewed by admins only. I've seen that happen to others that argue with Aschlafly, so I wasn't surprised to see it happen to me. And what would be the point of locking down the entire wiki, ever? The point of a wiki is to be open and accessible. OneAgainstRepression 14:02, 6 July 2008 (EDT)
Don't worry, I fully understand and agree with you. Just pointing out details. But since you're about to leave, I wish you the best. :) --KevinM 14:06, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

Try dissenting on Wikipedia

Go ahead. Try. See how quickly your edits are reverted and you are labeled a vandal, troll, sockpuppet, POV warrior or worse. Jinxmchue 13:50, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

I do. I regularly discuss edits and conflicts with my fellow Wikipedians. My work is also occasionally reverted without cause, and I have been, ironically enough, labeled as a vandal from Conservapedia before. Honest and open discussion of the issue has always revealed the incident, whatever it was, to be a misunderstanding. I have never met the liberal attack mob you all fear so much. I don't believe it exists. OneAgainstRepression 14:04, 6 July 2008 (EDT)
