The '''Viet Việt Minh''' (from ''Việt Nam Ðộc Lập Ðồng Minh Hội'', "League for the Independence of Vietnam") were [[Comintern]] affiliate forces in [[Vietnam]], fighting against both [[French]] colonial occupation and occupation by the [[Japanese]] during the [[Second World War]]. Their leader was [[Ho Chi Minh]], who went on to lead [[North Vietnam]] and the [[Vietcong]] during the [[Vietnam War]] until his death.
