Vittore Carpaccio

Vittore Carpaccio (c. 1460 - 1525/6) was an Italian painter known for his large compositional and narrative style.

Carpaccio is remembered for his series of paintings on St. Ursula and St. Jerome as well as his alterpiece Presentation in the Temple.
