Walling is an enhanced interrogation technique, one of many developed by the CIA and other agencies to assist in the War on Terror during the George W. Bush administration. The technique involves throwing a suspect against a false wall. This induces fear in the suspect by making him think that he is going to get hit by a real wall. Critics, especially liberals, decry this method as "torture" even though it has been determined by legal experts and doctors not to constitute torture. The detainee even wears a special collar to eliminate the possibility of whiplash during walling.[1]
