Western Kentucky University (WKU) is an institution of higher education which has its main campus located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. WKU students are known as Hilltoppers, as the main campus is located on a large hill. The school mascot is Big Red, a red mascot similar to McDonald's purple Grimace character.
