Wing

282 bytes added, 14:31, September 28, 2008
Modern technology has created wings on [[airplane]]s to allow for motorized flight. For these vehicles, there is no flapping. While wings are not the mechanisms that allow flight to occur, they are important for stabilization.

Wing can also mean something that extends from a central position. For example, the wing of a building (such as east wing or west wing) extends out from the main sectin of the building. The abstract terms [[left wing]] and [[right wing]] refer to opposing [[political]] beliefs.
