Prophecy

Prophecy is the act of being able to predict future events before they occur, not just due to chance or reasonable inference, but due to supernatural means.

The Bible has a number of different prophets (people who give prophecies) and prophecy is mentioned as a gift of the Holy Spirit. Prophecies are considered to come from God. False prophets are subsequently stoned for deceiving in the name of God when He had no part in their lives.
