Hal, I bet 15 quatloos that the bit about the astrologer gets scissored by the Truth Police. --BobD 01:41, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

"Nancy Reagan's backstage handling became fodder for late-night monologues and a national concern in 1987, following the publication of Donald Regan's "For the Record." Regan believed, as did many others, that Nancy was largely responsible for his being replaced as Chief of Staff. In his sensational memoir, Regan revealed that the First Lady regularly dictated the president's schedule after consulting her personal astrologer. Regan never claimed that astrology influenced executive decisions, but the ensuing frenzy raised questions about who exactly was in control at The White House. In "My Turn," Nancy attributed her reliance on astrology to her fear that her husband would be shot again."

So, what exactly did he claim? Huh? She sent memos! People respected the fears of an old lady who had recently almost lost her husband! What a bunch of snide little gutter snipes. --~ TK MyTalk 04:23, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Ronald Reagan page is wrong, Rob. His name, encyclopedia-like, should be Ronald Wilson Reagan. --~ Sysop-TK /MyTalk 10:32, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
Yes. While I agree with your assessment Officer TK, it doesn't fix the broken link. Feel free to either fix the link as I suggested above or create a Ronald Wilson Reagan page and move all of the material from Ronald Reagan to the new Ronald Wilson Reagan page being sure to make Ronald Reagan a redirect to be sure the link does not going to a (now) orphaned page. • Or not, citizen pommer. Or not. Please notify me when the nastiness ends, and I can be as sweet as pie. Until then, you get two conservatives for the price of one. It's your call. --~ Sysop-TK /MyTalk 00:26, 18 April 2007 (EDT)
What "nastiness"? I asked politely for a sysop (since the page was locked at the time), to fix the link. You, TK, then rebuffed my request to fix the link adding that RR should ought to be RWR. I replied (admittedly tongue-in-cheek), exactly what I had had in mind and offered an alternative method to both fix the link AND include your observation. The latter course been done by Geo.plrd, for which I now thank him. -- Rob Pommertalk 12:05, 18 April 2007 (EDT)
  • There is none so blind as he who sees. I linked Geo here, because I am tired of being ridiculed for making mistakes with those types of moves. You need to get over it. --~ Sysop-TK /MyTalk 17:31, 18 April 2007 (EDT)
