NFL Career
In 2000, Paxton was signed by the New England Patriots as a undrafted, rookie free agent. He long snapped every punt and field goal in his rookie season for the Patriots and he still is the Patriots undisputed starter at the position currently[1]. Since he joined the Patriots in 2000 he has only missed three out of a possible 112 games that he could play in. In 2003, he missed the last few games of the regular season and the entire postseason due to a ACL injury[2].
