Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), better known as Snoop Dogg (formerly Snoop Doggy Dogg),and more recently Snoop Lion (adopted after his conversion to Rastafarianism), is an American rapper. He is a gangsta rap pioneer, working with Dr. Dre to popularize the genre in the early 1990s.
