.22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire

.22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (5.6×27mmR) introduced in 1959 by Winchester refers to a rimfire cartridge that is .22 caliber. It is more typically referred to as the .22 WMR, .22 Magnum, or simply .22 Mag. it is commonly used for varmint hunting of coyote/fox sized varmints.
