21st Century Fox

21st Century Fox was the parent company of the 20th Century Fox movie studio, Fox News Channel and the Fox Broadcasting Company, and was the successor of the original News Corporation.

James Murdoch was the CEO with his brother Lachlan as executive co-chairman.[1][2]

Selected assets of 21st Century Fox, including 20th Century Fox, 20th Century Fox Television and its distribution unit 20th Television, the FX, FXX and FXM cable networks and its share in the streaming service Hulu, were bought by the Walt Disney Company on March 20, 2019 following regulatory approval, while Fox Sports Net was bought by Diamond Sports Group (a joint venture of the Sinclair Broadcast Group and Entertainment Studios) and all other 21st Century Fox assets not acquired by Disney were spun off to a new company, Fox Corporation.
