ATACMS

The Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), colloquially pronounced "attack-ums", is a solid-fuel tactical surface—to-surface ballistic missile manufactured by Lockheed Martin at a cost in excess of $2 million each. It has a range of up to 300 km. Its variants carry the US Department of Defense indexes MGM-140, MGM-164 and MGM-168. The ATACMS missile in the transport and launch container has the M39 index.

ATACMS missile launchers are M270 MLRS and M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
