A View to a Kill (1985) is the fourteenth film of the James Bond film series and the seventh and last film to star Roger Moore as fictional British secret agent James Bond. It is a loose adaptation of Ian Fleming's James Bond short story From a View to a Kill from his eighth Bond book For Your Eyes Only. The film is notable for marking the final appearance of Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny, who played the character in the first fourteen James Bond films. Caroline Bliss replaced Maxwell as Moneypenny in the following Bond film, The Living Daylights.
