Abelardo De La Espriella

Abelardo Gabriel de la Espriella Otero (b. 31 July 1978) is a Colombian lawyer, businessman, and conservative politician, president-elect of Colombia. With 12.9 million votes, De la Espriella became the most voted presidential candidate in Colombian history, winning the 2026 presidential runoff on 21 June 2026. He defeated progressive left-wing senator Iván Cepeda. Otero is scheduled to assume office on 7 August 2026. Known as 'El Tigre', he looks to crush cartels, end Colombia's socialist era.

He is the founder of the firm De la Espriella Lawyers Enterprise.
