Aintree

Aintree is a village and civil parish in the traditional county of Lancashire, approximately 6 miles north-east of Liverpool city centre. It is best known for its racecourse, venue for the Grand National. The district is also the subject of a song by The Scaffold.

Aintree forms part of the wider Liverpool post town and is within the council area of Sefton Council.
