Algemeen Dagblad (Abbreviation: AD) is a Dutch liberal daily newspaper which was founded on 29 April 1946 in Rotterdam. The Editor-in-chief is Hans Nijenhuis.

It has also multiple region editions in The Hague, Rotterdam and the Green Heart (Groene Hart).

The paper is based in Rotterdam and is owned by the Belgian company De Persgroep, which also operates Het Laatste Nieuws.
