Andy Kaufman

Andy Kaufman was a stand-up comedian and actor popular for his unusual comedy bits and role as Latka Graves on the television show Taxi. Kaufman died in 1984 from lung cancer, though many doubt his death, calling it another one of his elaborate pranks.

He also had a notable "feud" with professional wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler, resulting in a match that Lawler "won" (though the two for years portrayed it as genuine, they later admitted that – like all professional wrestling – it was part of a storyline).
