The Arini tribe of neotropical parrots is a monophyletic clade of macaws and parakeets in Mexico, Central America, and South America. They are characterized by their rather colorful and flamboyant plumage.[1]. Some of the rarest birds in the world belong to the Arini Tribe, such as the extinct-in-the-wild Spix's Macaw.
