Artur Davis, born October 9, 1967 (age 58), is a former Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Alabama's 7th congressional district from 2003 until 2011.
After an unsuccessful campaign for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination in 2010, Davis switched his party affiliation to Independent.
