Ash Carter was the fourth Secretary of Defense under President Barack Obama. Carter sought to fire Adm. Mike Rogers as NSA Director when Rogers alerted President-elect Donald Trump of Obama FISA abuse and the Obama administration's Spygate scandal interference in the 2016 Presidential election.[1]
