BMW or the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (in English the Bavarian Motor Works) is a German manufacturing company making automobiles and motorbikes.
BMW makes and exports cars from Europe and it's non-union plant in South Carolina to customers around the world. Mini, the famous maker of the Cooper and other models, is owned by BMW, and their models are sold at BMW dealerships. In Europe their vehicles are considered a domestic line and have reached high levels of popularity. They are also involved in Formula1 racing.
