Barbecue
From Conservapedia
Barbecue is a term both for a style of open air cooking and a family or social event revolving around said cooking method. Typically a barbecue consists of cooking meat over hot coals on a metal rack and informally serving the cooked food with salad, bread, or similar items. Care must be taken when cooking to ensure the food is cooked properly as there may be larger temperature variations than with more conventional cooking techniques. Due to the safety hazards involved, young children should be carefully supervised around a barbecue. Traditionally men are more likely to cook on a barbecue than they might otherwise cook for family or friends.
