Bart De Wever

Bart De Wever (b. 1970) is a Belgian politician, historian, and author who has served as Prime Minister of Belgium since February 3, 2025. He is the first Flemish nationalist to hold this position. He co-founded the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), Flanders' largest party, advocating conservative, economically liberal policies and confederalism (greater autonomy for Flanders, potentially leading to independence).
