Battle of Artemisium
From Conservapedia
The Battle of Artemisium was fought in 480 B.C. as part of the larger war between the Greek city states and the Persian Empire under Xerxes. It was an indecisive naval battle that took place of the coast of Artemisium on two successive days. There were few losses on either side in this cautious contest. The Greeks were prepared to continue the battle more decisively on the following day, but after hearing the news from the Battle of Thermopylae, they withdrew.
