Benedictine College

Benedictine College is a conservative Catholic college in Atchison, Kansas, which was named as one of America's Best Colleges in 2008 by U.S. News & World Report.[1]

Its full-time enrollment is 1298 as of 2008, and has numerous sports teams from football to baseball. It "has a very high rate of students accepted by the medical schools of their choice," and is one of only 70 colleges offering a degree in astronomy.[2]

Pro-Life Medical School

On September 8, 2022, Benedictine College entered into a collaboration agreement with Catholic Healthcare International to start a pro-life medical school, the St. Padre Pio Institute for the Relief of Suffering, School of Osteopathic Medicine.[3]
