Bible reading concerns who reads the Bible, and how often.

From 2011 to 2021, roughly half of Americans read the Bible on their own initiative three or four times per year.[1] However, that had a sharp drop to only 39% in 2022.[1]

Similarly, there was a drop in daily Bible readership from 14% to 10% in 2022.[1]

"Of the 155 million non-Bible users in America, nearly 60 million would say the Bible message has transformed them."[2]

Most still use printed versions of the Bible. "But younger adults engaged with Bible apps more than older adults within the preceding month, 53 percent compared to 35 percent, the American Bible Society reported."[2]
