Brabant Island

Brabant Island is an ice-covered island, lying at the north end of the Schollaert Channel, near Antwerp Island and Ghent Island in the Palmer Archipelago. It was discovered and named by the Belgian explorer Adrian de Gerlache after the province of Brabant, because the province helped financing the expedition.
