Bucks County, Pennsylvania is the fourth largest (after Philadephia, Allegheny, and Montgomery Counties) county in Pennsylvania in its voting totals. Both Democrats Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden reportedly carried this county in 2016 and 2020, respectively, but in the summer of 2024 it flipped to majority Republican in voter registration.
Bucks County is a northern suburb of Philadelphia.
In October 2024, early voting was extended by this county beyond the statutory cutoff:
| “ | A Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday sided with Donald Trump’s campaign and agreed to extend an in-person voting option in suburban Philadelphia, where long lines on the final day led to complaints voters were being disenfranchised by an unprepared election office.[1] | ” |
Its election results for the top three offices in November 2024 were as follows, listing the Democrat candidate first (Trump won it by less than 300 votes):[2]
