Category talk:Bible character

I don't like the term character as it smacks of fiction. Can we say "figure" or "personage" or "hero"? --Ed Poor 11:38, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Well, you don't want to say "hero", because some of the people listed on that page, like Esau and Goliath, aren't heroes.

I know, I'm searching for the mot just. How about "people mentioned in the Bible" or "Biblical figures"? --Ed Poor 12:54, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

I don't think "Bible characters" is a problem, but if you're going to change it, "People mentioned in the Bible" seems good. --Epicurius 13:34, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

How about Category:Biblical persons? --Ed Poor 17:50, 30 April 2007 (EDT)
