Celeste Maloy

Celeste Maloy was nominated in June 2023 to be the Republican nominee for the 2nd congressional seat in Utah vacated by the retirement of Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT).
This seat is safely Republican, rated at R+11 by the Cook index.[1]
Maloy was endorsed by Stewart and also had the advantage of actually living in the district, contrary to her leading rival.[2] At the nominating convention, the ultimately victorious Maloy also expressed skepticism about increasing U.S. involvement in the NATO war in Ukraine.
