Charles Murray

Charles Murray is a libertarian social theorist based in New York.
He came to public attention as co-author of The Bell Curve, which he wrote with Richard Herrnstein.
His study of the welfare state, Losing Ground: American Social Policy, 1950-1980 (1984), was quite influential and encouraged conservatives to oppose unnecessary welfare programs.
