Civil Rights Restoration Act
From Conservapedia
The Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 was an override of President Ronald Reagan's veto, and also overrode the U.S. Supreme Court decision of Grove City College v. Bell, 465 U.S. 555 (1984).
This law expands the application of federal laws and regulations, including Title IX, to all the programs of any institution that receives any federal funding, not merely the program benefiting from the funding.
The lopsided vote for this politically correct bill (and against religious freedom) was 73–24 in the Senate and 292–133 in House.
