Clinton Wesley Morgan (born July 23, 1950, age 76) is an anti-establishment conservative Republican businessman and former state representative from Kentucky's 81st district, serving from 2017 to 2018. He unsuccessfully ran in the 2020 U.S. Senate elections for the seat held by the establishment RINO Mitch McConnell.[1]
Kentucky House of Representatives
Morgan served in the 2017 legislative session in the Kentucky House of Representatives, where he pushed for many conservative legislation. Within the first few days of taking office, Morgan co-sponsored HB 128, a bill that established standards for schools to hold electives on religious literature.[2] Morgan also voted for key pro-life bills[3][4] as well as legislation that would authorize the operating of charter schools within the state of Kentucky.[5]
