Commonwealth Parliament

The Commonwealth Parliament is the Parliament of Australia, which was founded in 1901 and is operated under the British style of government.
It consists of a House of Representatives (150 members) and a Senate (76 members), similar to the House of Commons and the House of Lords in the U.K.
The House of Representatives is known as the "people's house."[1]
