Conor McGregor is ranked by Forbes magazine as the highest paid athlete in the world as of 2021.[1] In November 2023 McGregor announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Irish Republic.[2] After criticizing the Irish ruling regime's Eurocentric approaches to immigration,[3] McGregor came under investigation for alleged online "hate speech".[4]
