Criminal contempt

Criminal contempt is a crime in the ordinary sense and, if entailing imprisonment of more than six months, then it requires the constitutional protection of a right to jury trial. Int'l Union v. Bagwell, 114 S. Ct. 2552, 2556-57 (1994).
