Cumberland Council

Cumberland Council is the unitary authority responsible for the council area Cumberland, the northernmost council area in the statistical region North West England. It covers roughly two-thirds of the traditional county after which it is named, Cumberland, although it excludes the south-east of that county, most notably Penrith.
