Daniel Richman

Daniel C. Richman is a longtime confidant and personal friend of disgraced former FBI director James Comey and a professor at Columbia University.[1]
Richman is the individual to whom Comey leaked his Memos. Richman then leaked the Memos to the New York Times. Comey later testified he did this to obtain the appointment of Special Counsel.[2]
On September 17, 2025 ABC News reported that Richman had received a subpoena to appear before a Grand Jury in the probe investigating disgraced former FBI director James Comey for lying to Congress.[3]
