David Wu

David Wu (born 1955) represents Oregon's first congressional district. He is a Democrat and a liberal. Wu's parents were born in Communist China, and emigrated to Taiwan where David was born. The family then emigrated to the United States. Wu is a graduate of Stanford University and Yale law school. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1998, and has been re-elected six times since then.

Wu has made national news several times for his bizarre behavior. He surrendered his Congressional seat due to sexual charges that he does not deny.
