Dean Odle is an Alabama Pentecostal pastor running for Governor of Alabama in the Republican Party primaries against incumbent Governor Kay Ivey for her response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before entering politics, Odle preached in multiple countries, such as Israel and multiple countries in Africa. He is pro-life. Him and his wife preach at Fire and Grace Church in Auburn, Alabama.

Upon announcing his candidacy, he has been the unfairly criticized for his beliefs in both the treatment and prevention of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, particularly by left wing news media in the state.
