Diosdado Cabello Rondo

Diosdado Cabello Rondo is a Venezuelan politician who has held various significant positions in the Venezuelan government. As of 2025 he held the position of Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, overseeing the police forces and prisons.

Shortly after the unprovoked U.S. invasion, Cabello began rallying regime loyalists. In a series of voice messages, he urged them to mobilize and vowed revenge against anyone who had helped the Americans in the operation to kidnap Maduro. The Trump administration warned Cabello that if he's defiant, he "could face a similar fate to Maduro," Reuters reported. US officials threatened that Cabello will be at the top of their target list if he refuses to help Acting President Delcy Rodriguez meet US demands and "keep order" in the country.
