Durham Tees Valley Airport is a regional airport in north-east England, located between Darlington and Stockton on Tees. The airport was opened in 1964 as Teesside Airport (it adopted its current name in 2004). It made use of a former RAF station, RAF Middleton St. George, which had closed in 1963.
