East Riding of Yorkshire Council

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is local authority covering part of the county Yorkshire in England. Despite its name, the council area is not coextensive with the historic East Riding of Yorkshire; the south-west of the council area (around Goole) is in the West Riding of Yorkshire, with part of the actual East Riding being under the council areas of Hull City Council, North Yorkshire Council and City of York Council.
