Eccentric

Eccentric often used to refer to odd, bizarre, erratic or unusual behavior in individuals.

Eccentricity is distinguished from mental illness in that eccentrics are usually characterized as happy, whereeas the mentally ill suffer from their behavior Eccentricity is often, but not always, a trait associated with genius. For example, Albert Einstein was said to have smoked cigarette butts he picked up off the street.
