El Reno is a city in Oklahoma and is considered part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
The city has been damaged by several tornadoes in its history, notably in 2011 (an EF5 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale) and 2013 (also an EF5; this storm was measured at 2.6 miles across -- the widest ever measured -- and killed four storm chasers and injured several others).
