I find it hypocritical to condemn the far-right by associating them with the left. I also find it dishonest. Are/were they collectivist, totalitarian globalists who admire Islam? Yes. Do many of them oppose both capitalism and Zionism and thereby attempt to associate the two (as if it is bad that the Jewish State is a good model of the free market)? Yes. They also oppose communism and immigration. But here's what makes them far-right. They support ultranationalism and extreme traditionalism. Those are inherently right-wing (or rather, far-right).

When classical liberals make fun of the progressive left, you don't hear them say, "Well, they're actually really right-wing, after all!" We must condemn unequivocally fascists, white supremacists, the KKK, neo-Nazis. This encyclopedia does it, too! "They're the real fascists!" "The Nazis were far-left!" It's a false argument: according to political science, the far-right is far-right! Trust me. I used to be a white supremacist.

It is true that the Ku Klux Klan was founded from the Democrat Party. It is true that Democrats founded the immoral Confederate States of America. It is true that many Democrats opposed integration and civil rights. But those are political parties. Not the same as political science.

Why can't we just say that these people are/were bad, no matter where they fall on the political spectrum? Why do we have to associate them with our opponents?

I do think that the left is very hypocritical on this issue. They frequently associate right-wingers with racists, but neglect facts such as that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was an avowed racist who met with the KKK.

Let us define the far-right as this: a twisted group of extremists who oppose both capitalism and communism, support extreme manifestations of nationalism and traditionalism, oppose all immigration (legal and illegal), support big, totalitarian government, tend to be anti-Zionist, generally support Islam, and often believe in the superiority of the white race.

During my time as a white supremacist, I made an account on the neo-Nazi hate site Stormfront. My password was [obscenity][open echo]stalin[close echo]. That being said, I also posted this on my profile: "btw Muslims are not as bad as Jews, they actually tried to assist the Axis Powers in World War II and Mein Kampf is currently the second-most popular book in Iran. The Muslims could help us in our fight against the Jews!!!"

The point is that we must condemn these hateful, extremist, and often violent demagogues rather than simply pushing them onto the other side. White supremacists, fascists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK are all bad. End of story.
