Fight Club (1999) was a successful, influential movie featuring conservative rock star Meat Loaf and the rising star actor Brad Pitt.

Its expensive budget of $65 million left it with little profit, and perhaps a loss, on box office revenues of $101 million.

In one interpretation the movie is about young men who struggle with life find an unusual way to create something out of nothing.
