Garlin D. Gilchrist II (born September 25, 1982, age 38) is an entrepreneur, engineer, and Democrat serving as the current lieutenant governor of Michigan under the governorship of the radical, totalitarian Gretchen Whitmer.

2018 election

Former state senator Gretchen Whitmer, the Democrat nominee in the 2018 Michigan gubernatorial election, selected Gilchrist to be her running mate for lieutenant governor.[1] The pair won the general election with 53.3% of the vote.[2]

Tenure

It was announced in April 2020 that Gilchrist was named by Gov. Whitmer to lead the Michigan Coronavirus Task Force on Racial Disparities.[3]
